Višnje is a village to the south of Ambrus in the Ivančna Gorica municipality in central Slovenia. The area is part of the historical region of Lower Carniola. The municipality is now included in the Central Slovenian statistical region.[2]

The local church is dedicated to Saints Phillip and James and belongs to the Ambrus Parish. It is first mentioned in written documets dating to 1136, but burnt down in 1943. It was rebuilt in 1968.[3]
